Do The Microwave Part II
I have been using the microwave for de-crystallizing honey. Take off the lid and, depending on how much is left in the jar heat it up for about 15 to 30 seconds. You can repeat this until all the honey is liquid again and as often as is needed.
What I didn't know was that brown sugar can be turned soft again by adding a few drops of water to its original package and then heated on medium for 10 to 20 seconds. I have to keep that in mind!
Another use for the microwave is toasting bread crumbs. All you need to do is spread them out evenly on a plate, heat on high for 2 to 3 minutes and make sure to stir them after each minute.
Nuts can also be toasted by spreading them out on a plate, microwaving them on high for 4 to 5 minutes, or until they start to brown. The same goes for the nuts as for the bread crumbs: stir or toss well after each minute.
We may be getting tossed and turned around by all the problems we encounter during this life and many things may stir us up, but we know God has a plan and purpose for all of it and he is with us every second of the day!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
