For those of you who knew our previous dog Mia, you may see a fair resemblance. Not only does Flo look like her, but she has about the same traits as well. She has a very sweet disposition, loves to play, and thinks everything is up for chewing.
We had put a mat in the doghouse for her to lie on. It didn't stay there very long; she pulled it out and tore it up in no time. She also was so kind to help me out by 'pruning' my beautifully, blooming plant on the patio which I nourished all summer long. Sigh.
I should have expected that, but I had high hopes for the contrary. I literally rubbed her nose in all the branches she tore off and clearly told her that was a no-no. She knew I was angry with her and so far, she has left the plant alone.
Maybe there is hope after all. It will require patience and effort on our part to teach her what she can and can't do. I am in the process of training and teaching her. It will take some time, but I have no doubt we will eventually achieve the goal.
Patience is the main key here. Just imagine where we would be without God's never-ending patience. Every day He teaches us, or at least puts forth the effort. It is up to us to learn and follow His lead. In and with Him there is always hope!
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
