Seeing To Our Needs

Ever since we had to let our dog Mia go we have been missing her. We were not ready to get a new dog right after she died and even if we were, we probably wouldn't have known which one to choose. So, we decided to wait until the need and desire for another dog arose.

We had no clue when that would be, but God did. Last Monday, we heard a strange noise in our backyard and upon investigation we found a dog in our yard. She is still very young, she is also very skinny, and attention starved. As soon as I laid eyes on her, her appearance and attitude reminded me of Mia.

We don't know where she came from or how she got in our yard. She sure has a very friendly disposition, but was also wearing a collar. We gave her something to eat and let her out of the fence, thinking she might go back home. She didn't. She lingered in front of the gate.

The neighbor asked around to see if she belonged to someone. Nobody claimed her and she didn't have a chip either. We offered to take her until her owner would show up. So far, that hasn't happened and we named her Flo. If no one will claim her than I believe it is God's provision. He always sees to our needs.

Even when we are not aware of or refuse to acknowledge them!

Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
