New Residents

We couldn't believe the birds decided to pick the wreath on our front door as their place of residence. A few weeks ago we thought they might find another spot to nest, seeing how our front door would open regularly and scare them away, but they didn't.

A sturdy nest was built quickly, five eggs were laid, and within no time two little baby birds are presently crowding the nest and filling our living room with as much racket as they can as soon as mom or dad arrives with some grub.

It must have seemed the ideal spot for the parents to raise a family. They may not have considered the dangers involved and once they became aware of it, it may have been too late. They must have trusted in God to provide for them and fill their needs. And He did.

We try to disturb them as little as possible and when we have to open and close the door, we do it as gently as we can. In exchange, they allow us to take a peek in the nest and check on the growth of the little ones. It works out well for all.

We may not always make the right choices and/or see the dangers, but God can rectify that situation in an instant and make it work for everyone. It does require some action on our part; love, hope, and faith!

Romans 15:2
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.

Audrey,
Aww, well thank you so much, lieve zus. :-) We were astonished, pleased, and grateful, seeing the nest on our front door.

We know everything happens for a reason, so we try to give everyone their space. Even if that means giving up our wreath for while. Grin.

We read your blog and we hope everything is well with you and yours???!

(((HUGS))))

God's Grace.
