A Ton Of Fun

If it is not one thing, it is another. Yes, I am still tired and as if that is not enough my neck and shoulders are all stiff and sore. I am not surprised about that at all. I was babysitting our youngest granddaughter yesterday and that little critter weighs a ton.

Okay, okay, that is a rather exaggerated, but she sure filled out nicely after the first two months of being born. To give you an idea: she is eight months old now and wears apparel which is made for a two-year old. She is also rather tall for her age, so that kind of 'evens the odds' a little so to speak.

Still, she is quite heavy and that is not easy on the physical state of the person having to lift her up and carry her around. That is not going to last for much longer though. She is in the process of mastering how to crawl and we anticipate it will take but a few more months before she will be walking.

She is definitely worth her weight in gold when it comes to personality. She is always in a good mood and loves to make fun. The few times when she is fussy only mean two things; she is either hungry or sleepy. I can't blame her for fussing, because I am grouchy too when my stomach is empty or when I am tired. Grin.

We are very thankful for her though. She sure is another blessing to our family. May God watch over her, protect her, and guide and lead us to bring her up in His will and way.

Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
